Dialogue No. 1 from “First Term at the Piano” by Bela Bartok (Tutorial)

This video contains 3 sections:
1. A complete performance of the entire piece by Dr. Xian.
2. Score analysis – looking at the music section by section and
comparing similarities and differences between patterns.
3. With Dr. Xian at the Piano – explaining practice steps between
measures 5-8.

This tutorial is not designed for student to learn the piece by ears. Having the music when practicing at the piano is strongly recommended. The student may feel free at any time to pause the video to repeat a certain section of the piece until it reaches its satisfactory level before moving on to the next segment of the video.
